Lafayette College students were named to the Dean's List for outstanding academic achievement during the fall 2016 semester. Each student achieved at least a 3.60 semester grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

Lake Forest College welcomed 422 first-year students to campus this fall. Forty six percent of the Class of 2018 is from outside Illinois and students hail from 34 states and 39 countries. In addition to English, there are 46 languages spoken among the new group of students.
The Dean's List recognizes students who have achieved distinguished academic records. It is compiled at the end of each academic year. To be selected for this honor, a student must have attained a grade point average of at least 3.60 for two consecutive semesters.
Broadly multidisciplinary, Mount David Summit shows the depth and expanse of scholarship among Bates students, highlighting undergraduate research; student creative work in art, dance, theater, music and film/video; projects conducted in the context of academic courses; and community-engaged research.
Area students enrolled at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, this fall. Before classes began, each student took part in an orientation that included an introduction to Colby's rigorous academics, rich cultural life, and community involvement opportunities as well as a three-day outdoor excursion.
